If we’re honest with ourselves; culture does influence us. But as Christians our ultimate shaping comes from the word of God. In our city, nation and the world the Bible is under attack, and we’re encouraged just to blend in with that prevalent culture, the culture which shifts and changes like the wind. Paul writes to Timothy not to fall into that trap; don’t be ashamed of the scriptures because nothing gives life like they do. They are God breathed, and all we need.
