Understanding and accepting
1 Corinthians 2:6-16

With a good idea, you would think that people would just accept it straight away… But it doesn’t always work out like that. A good idea can be understood by people, but isn’t always accepted. The same is true with Christ crucified in the Corinthian church; they comprehended the message, but they didn’t accept it. In this section of Paul’s letter to the church we’re going to see that on our own we’re never going to be able to understand, we need the mind of Christ to help.
