The brand new, thousands strong church in Jerusalem is hit with three things that were not part of their plan: persecution, the salvation of Saul, and the inclusion of Gentiles into the Kingdom. But in the plan of the risen and reigning Lord Jesus, each of these things are part of His plan to spread the word and spread the joy of the gospel.
