Jesus came so that we could call God, ‘Father’. It is the highest and deepest revelation of who God is. It the great climax of the storyline of the Bible. Israel were God’s child but, due to their rebellion, never knew God as Father. Jesus came to be the true Israel, to deal with our sin and to invite us to share in his relationship with God.
