Life without sex?
1 Corinthians 7:1-9
Jonty Allcock
We’ve seen that the church in Corinth is in a mess, in fact Paul calls their situation a crisis. The issue of sexual immorality is threatening their existence, it’s tearing the church apart– that’s why Paul’s tone is so serious. As we hear from 1 Corinthians 7 we’re not going to see the sum total of what the bible says about sex, singleness or marriage, but we are going to see Paul write into a culture that has made sex an idol, and the consequences of that.
