Two thousand years on Jesus’ words are still relevant; the things that held Jesus’ followers back are the things that will keep us from following Jesus- looking to find fulfilment in other people, ourselves or in materialism. We’re not made to find fulfilment in any of these things; we’re made find fulfilment in Jesus.
