What will Adam and Eve’s children be like? Will they just repeat their failure? In Cain and Abel we see the two paths humanity can take. With Cain there’s the tragic repeating of rebellion against God, generation after generation. But there is a choice for another way, the way of Abel. His is the way of faith in God which leads to acceptance. His blood cried out about the guilt of Cain. But the blood of Jesus cries out something better- our innocence and acceptance before God. The question is, will we let the blood do the talking?
