The Globe Church

I’m a ‘London lad’ who has lived all my life in and around the capital. I love the place, its history and buildings, its variety and peoples. For 18 years, I worked in town as a Chartered Surveyor, having left school at 16. Val and I married in the 1970s, and in my mid 30s, I left my business to become one of the Pastors at Chessington Evangelical Church, where I had become a Christian in my late teens.

A heart for London led me to getting involved in establishing The London Men’s Convention 15 years ago. Helping start a new church on the South Bank was a natural progression after pastoring Chessington Church for 25 years. My current role as London Director of the Fellowship of Independent Churches (FIEC) gives a great opportunity to encourage networking and partnership among churches

I enjoy sports of all kinds, but participation has sadly given way to spectating, apart from the occasional bit of cycling and golf. Chelsea FC have been a lifelong passion, but my greatest passion is being a follower of Jesus and wanting other people to know the joy of acceptance with him.
