I had the immense privilege of growing up in a Christian home which led me to trust in God from a young age. Convinced of the intrinsic goodness of the gospel and emboldened by the Holy Spirit, I sought to share the incredible news of Jesus with my school friends and teachers.
God faithfully sustained me through my childhood and teenage years, but during my gap year and through the first few years of uni, I had got to a place where I started taking God for granted and started to drift gradually away from Him. My heart reflected that verse in Jeremiah 1:13 where God says 'My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water'. Through various different ways, God, in His grace rescued me and drew me back to Himself.
I have always had a heart for overseas mission but had not really considered local church ministry till the start of this year. I am grateful to be able serve The Globe Church this year and look forward to see how God will use it for His plans and purposes.
I love collecting book and populating my bookshelf (I need to be better at reading all of them!) and I love roller-skating.
